The Anchor Holds | The Schulz Family

These pictures mean the world to me because these people are my family. There aren't many people I love and cherish more than them. The past few months have been a whirlwind of emotions, ranging from the greatest joy to the most intense grief as their Mom, Wife, and Grammy left this world to join Jesus in her forever home. There have been a lot of confusing times of my life, but this tops the list. The word why has been on the forefront of my mind. But here's what I know to be true: Jesus died so we could have life. Not just 'okay' life, but the fullest kind of life there is. And Pam knew it, believed it, and lived it. Though the earth feels a bit lopsided without her, there is hope in Christ and Christ alone. He anchors our souls. He gives us peace. He promises that if we are in Him, death in the flesh cannot touch our souls which have been made alive.

"Sometimes people leave you halfway through the wood. Do not let it grieve you. No one leaves for good. You are not alone."
